Wanted to share my great getaway with you guys. My husband and I spent the weekend in a little hidden treasure tucked away on Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC. It's minutes away from downtown Charleston, just over the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. "The Cottages on Charleston Harbor", as they are called, consist of 10 beautiful cottages in a quite tranquil setting. Check out the link: www.thecottagesoncharlestonharbor.com
During the day I had time to rumage through some of my favorite Charleston antique stores like, Page's Theives Market on Ben Sawyer Blvd. (tons of furniture @ resonable prices) and Antiques Market on Coleman Blvd. (so many booths you could spend the entire afternoon there). Check them out if you are ever in Charleston.
Back at "The Cottage" I couldn't help but admire the decor, especially this adorable little Corona Typewriter on the desk in the guest bedroom. I want one, I want one, I do!
